The PRL Difference
With over 20 years of experience leading projects and programs for enterprise-level clients, there aren’t many things I haven’t seen. What sets me apart?
Certified Scrum Master: As a certified scrum master, I have successfully driven technology projects with values ranging from $500,000 to $35,000,000.
Certified Scrum Product Owner: As a certified scrum product owner, I work with the business team and technical team to translate business requirements into business value. This is my “happy place” and where I do my best work.
Program Manager: Whether it is moving petabytes of security use case data or helping create net-new solutions to save time and money, ensuring successful delivery is my bottom line.
Project Manager: Driving projects across the finish line while mitigating risk and maximizing efficiency is my differentiator. From construction to technology, I develop strong relationships with stakeholders and vendors to protect timelines and drive results.
Training Facilitator: Having spent six years teaching adults, I am passionate about empowering teams to replicate my outcomes.
The Network: I have a curated network of similarly experienced practitioners that I leverage on an as-needed basis, with an average of 20 years of experience in the following: Technical writing, business analysis, process improvement, change management, and cybersecurity
Who We Serve
I founded PRL Strategic Consulting to continue to do the work that I have spent the past 20 years doing: Delivering high-value, high-visibility projects and programs for clients in the following verticals:
Finance: Since 2013, I have been focused primarily on delivering implementations of Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems and other financial technology (FinTech) projects and programs for higher education, research, and healthcare customers.
Healthcare: I am HIPAA trained and have delivered projects ranging from a lockbox implementation, which allowed a large, regional health insurer to continue to process $2B in payments annually, to the automation of a review process that saved that same entity ~1,000 man-hours.
Higher Education & Research: I have worked with development teams to deliver custom budgeting ERP software systems for multiple universities and their healthcare research entities. These systems are complex, and ensuring that the business requirements are translated into technical requirements is key to their success.
Fortune 500 Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs) & Retailers: I have worked with OEMs to deliver ERP systems, capture business requirements for new marketing systems, and refine financial processes to make them more user-friendly and better aligned with Generally Accepted Accounting Practices (GAAP). I have also worked with one of the world’s leading retailers to deliver technology programs, including migrating petabytes of security use case data from one Big Data tool into another, and executing a turnaround of their tools team using Scrum principles. These projects make their business more efficient, more secure, and deliver more value for their customers.
Government, Public Sector & Defense: As someone who believes in responsive government, I am honored to h government, public sector, and defense verticals in our state. From public utilities to county and state agencies, I seek to empower the public sector to create value and transparency for our state’s citizens.
People-First Approach
Humans come first in our approach. Human-centered design is essential to ensure that processes benefit humans as well as the business. In our program and project management approach, relationships take center stage. Emotional intelligence is at the core of everything we do.
In our artificial intelligence (AI) implementations, the Human-in-the-Loop approach ensures that AI is governed appropriately. We focus on humans as the center of any effort, AI or otherwise.
A Focus on Sustainability
We hold our work to high standards. We focus on sustainable results built on smart strategy and real insight. This is why the train-the-trainer approach to implementations is an essential part of our methodology. We do not seek to deliver a pretty presentation destined to sit on a shelf gathering dust. We seek to empower your team with the tools to replicate our results.
Reliability
We follow through, meet deadlines, and show up when it matters. Reliability is a key component of any relationship, especially in business.
Empowerment
We bring structure where it counts and adaptability where it matters. We adapt to your team and organizational culture in order to cause as little disruption as possible. We believe in working with our clients, not against them.
